1. Advocate for Legal Pathways

Work with the current U.S. administration and policymakers to establish fair and compassionate immigration pathways for caregivers who have dedicated years of service to caring for America’s senior citizens.

2. Promote Dignity and Recognition

Ensure that Fijian caregivers are recognized for their contributions and treated with dignity, respect, and fairness within the healthcare and caregiving sector.

3. Highlight Contributions

Raise awareness that for more than three decades, Fijian caregivers have been an essential part of the caregiving workforce in California, supporting seniors with dedication, kindness, and compassion.

4. Advocate for Fair Conditions

Promote fair wages, improved working conditions, and protections for caregivers who often work below market rates while providing essential services.

5. Strengthen Community Support

Build a united network of caregivers who support one another professionally, socially, and emotionally while continuing to provide high-quality care to senior citizens.

6. Promote Compassionate Values

Encourage caregiving rooted in kindness, affection, passion, and genuine love—treating every senior citizen with the same respect and care as one’s own family.
